Sammohan 2025: National Arts Festival for the Differently-Abled Concludes

Artists who participated in Sammohan 2025, the national differently-abled arts festival held at the Different Art Centre, along with Gopinath Muthukad.

Thiruvananthapuram: The national differently-abled arts festival Sammohan 2025, which captivated audiences with artistic performances that transcended limitations, has concluded. The closing ceremony of the two-day festival, held at the Different Art Centre in KINFRA Film Park, was inaugurated by renowned film actor Ajayakumar (Guinness Pakru).

Ajayakumar stated that Sammohan provided a platform that celebrates the talents of differently-abled individuals. The event was presided over by Gopinath Muthukad, founder of the Different Art Centre and a renowned magician.

Around 200 differently-abled artists from states including West Bengal, Maharashtra, Delhi, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh participated in the festival. A musical evening by the neurodiverse band from Delhi, ‘Chayanith – The Chosen One’, stood out as a major highlight.

A large number of students from schools and colleges in the city came to witness these unique performances.

The event was also attended by director Prajish Sen, Arun Guinness, and prominent differently-abled individuals who have excelled in various fields — Fathima Anshi, Ananya Bijesh, Aditya Suresh, and Arya Prakash, Assistant Professor at Shankar Memorial Arts and Science College.
